Our first rehearsal with Ronald and Luke each playing 2 characters at once. Antony and Enorbarbus arrive in Rome. Ceasar is waiting along with Lepidus. They interupt each other, they power play with chairs and negotiate a sister for a wife to make some peace. It's a tense and weird scene. The tiniest character detail speaks volumes. Luke is playing with Caesar's exceptional need for control and information. And Antony's disregard for forethought and convention. And marriage.
