height, hitting, scissors, drinking & a new song

We got to the end of Act 2. Cleopatra loses her shit, hits the messenger 3 times before taking a swipe at him with scissors. Time delays on Skype from Mass. to the Czech Republic were only a second or two off from when Luke throws the the hits and Ronald received them. Hmm...maybe we keep this delay when we are live. Poor messenger.

Messenger. Height. We talked about being tall people. We are all pretty tall. And what you do about that as an actor and a human. And how the messenger is too tall and steals focus. So, he bends into the screen. And his posture is an attempt to be less.

Drunk. The drunk scene is going to be a sweet challenge, but if (when) we pull it off, it's going to be pretty awesome. Time delays once again on Skype made it pretty impossible for Ron and Luke to simultaneously throw back shots as Enobarbus and Antony. Ron has a conversation with his two drunk characters, one playing the guitar one speaking in Czech, pretty hilarious, as Luke is tossing them back and serving as a human percussion. They may have actually been drunk by the end of the scene.

AND RON WROTE A NEW SONG. So he got a new album cover. ENOBARBUS (TO ANTONY)...damn. It's a heartbreaker. As Luke said, "This feels like love" We're looking at where to put it in a couple places throughout the play. One of which will definitely be when Enobarbus dies...sad, man. And beautiful. So beautiful, captured the entirety of Antony & Enobarbus's relationship in one song. Ron's klling it on the music front.
